Wenzel UK Celebrates 20th Anniversary at MACH 2014

Wenzel UK is celebrating 20 Years in Metrology in 2014 and to coincide with this event Wenzel UK will be attending MACH 2014 between the 7th - 11th April 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham.

Wenzel UK will again be exhibiting a number of new products at the show including the New 2^nd Generation LH CMM with the New Wenzel Phoenix sensor, ideal for quick non-contact measurement and point cloud generation on a range of material types. Phoenix is insensitive to different material colours and surface textures, multi coloured components can be easily measured and the new strip light projection and image processing enables the detection of mixed materials such as carbon fibre combined with Aluminium sheet metal and Ideal for Automotive applications.

The New WGT 280 is the latest in the Wenzel Gear measuring system; this all new design is both compact and high in technology and allows part measurement up to 280mm with quick and easy set up with the Wenzel Gear software.

The New XO CMM from Wenzel UK will also be exhibited with the 5 axis Renishaw probe PH20. This unique combination is three times as faster than typical touch trigger solutions and Wenzel UK will demonstrated this with the latest CMM software developments in the QUARTIS measurement software offering from Wenzel.

WENZEL UK CELEBRATES 20th ANNIVERSARY WITH RELOCATION

Wenzel UK is celebrating 20 Years in Metrology in 2014 and to coincide with the 20^th anniversary Wenzel UK is further expanding its business with the relocation to a larger and more centrally located Sales & Technical Centre in Redditch during February 2014.

Wenzel UK has been supporting many premium customers here in the UK over the last 20 years including BMW Group, Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce Submarines and Bentley Motors and due to continued growth requires a new facility to allow increased support to UK customers.

The new UK Sales & Technical Centre facility will have a new demonstration and customer support facility. The new Redditch facility has been chosen because of its central location and easy access to the rest of the UK through the motorway network.

Commenting, Martin Hawkins Managing Director of Wenzel UK said “the relocation to Redditch is another step in the continued growth of Wenzel UK over the last few years. The new location will make it easier for customers to see the latest Metrology systems Wenzel UK has to offer but also to increase our levels of business support and service, fundamental for our future growth”.

An official opening is planned during March with Mr Frank Wenzel and Dr Heike Wenzel-Dafler from Wenzel Group as well as a customer open house to celebrate the launch and the 20^th anniversary of Wenzel UK supporting metrology here in the UK.
