Having done some extensive research over the last few months it is clear that there is a very boyant market for the Manual CMM against that of an articulated arm especially where accuracy is an issue. With our new Manual CMM X-Cite  we hope our offering is both versatile but also priced competitively.


The XCite is the new manual 3D CMM has been designed for quick and easy verification of simple parts and with an excellent price to performance ratio, enabling a simple entry into the world of 3D metrology and CMM Measurement.

Fitted with a compact Renishaw sensor, the XCite collects probe points which are stored and evaluated with the powerful measuring software Metrosoft QUARTIS.

The XCite Manual CMM offers easy operation and an attractive entry price. The all-round system is suitable for quality control of components in the manufacturing environment as well as for classic measurement of work pieces in standards rooms.

The XCite Manual CMM It is an inexpensive alternative to gauges or multipoint measurement systems.

Launched during the Control show in 2012, the new Generation LH CMM has just arrived at Wenzel UK Ltd. This new generation CMM has been extensivily re-styled for the modern industrial setting.

We are just installing a new Generation LH87 CMM with table length of 1500mm.

Available now for customer demonstrations with Metrosoft QUARTIS Measurement software.

Metrosoft QUARTIS has for the last few years been introduced by the Wenzel Group on the range of CMM's and other associated Metrology systems.

Metrosoft QUARTIS is able to support all the new Renishaw probe systems such as PH20 and PHS.

NEW Wenzel CMM Enclosure

Wenzel UK is now pleased to be able offer a full design and manufacture service for our own range of CMM Enclosures.

Many customers are looking to locate their CMM's right into the heart of the manufacturing environment. With any air bearing CMM,  protection from the ingress of dirt and dust is really important especially if you want to keep maintenance costs down.

After many requests from our customers we have decided to design and build our own range of CMM Enclosures all custome built to your requirements.

Manufactured from closed face Aluminium section profile and fully glazed these now have front bi-fold doors and side removable panels.

We have just compled the installtion of the first CMM Enclosure at Olympus Engineering in Stoke on Trent and have just received an order for a large 6M x 5M structure to be built in the next few weeks.
