The NEW Phoenix Non Contact Scanner
WENZEL UK is pleased to annouce the launch of the brand new Phoenix Non Contact Sensor.
From our own reaserch and R&D Wenzel Group has developed a Revolution in Non Contact Scanning. Phoenix is the new optical, non-contact 3D sensor captures point clouds and geometry elements on different materials in one working cycle.
Coupled to a Renishaw PH10 Probe head the Phoenix can be used in automatic probe changers alongside tactile sensors, so that multiple applications can be performed with a single measuring system. These multiple and flexible applications and many other highlights make the Phoenix the ideal tool for quality assurance, production monitoring and analysis.
For the first time the Phoenix is insensitive to different material colours and surface textures, multi coloured components can be easly measured and the new stip light projection and image processing enables the detection of mixed materials such as carbon fibre combined with Aluminium sheet metal.
Typical application areas of the Phoenix are in the automotive industry, but also in plastic and sheet metal processing. Previously timeconsuming inspections can be done quickly and reliably especially in mass production, such as in car body, sheet metal or plastic part production. Its small, lightweight design allows the sensor to be fitted to standard 3D coordinate measuring machines in production lines and metrology rooms.
The New Phoenix is ideal for Automotive Body & White Applications as well as a host of other industrial applications.

NEW WGT 280 For Measurement of Small Gears
The New WGT 280 is the first model of a new generation of gear measuring machines in a new industrial design
The WGT 280 offers a gear measuring machine for the fast and efficient analysis of small gears up to a maximum diameter of 280 mm. Because of its compact construction and small footprint it can be easily integrated into existing processes. The easy to access measuring volume allows a simple loading and operation of the measuring system.
The high precise rotary table can be loaded with parts up to 50 kg weight. Equipped is the WGT 280 with the Renishaw scanning probe SP 600 and allows the measurement of gears starting with a module of 0.5 as standard. For the accurate measurement of shafts the gear measuring machine can be equipped additionally with a tail stock. The WGT 280 allows measurements in a Z range of 500 mm.
The New WGT is be demonstrated for the first time at the Control Show 2013 in Stuttgart in Hall 5 / Stand 5204.
If you need more information on the new WGT 280 please contact Wenzel UK sales on 01452 728298 or visit our Website www.wenzel-cmm.co.uk for more information.
